Dear Bloggers (Especially you, Following In My Shoes),
I now have in my possession two beautiful little girls, ages 5 months and 3 years, and I have come to the realization that I have lost possession of whatever extraneous blogging time I managed to find in my old days.
I mean, how do ya'll do it?
Rachel at Following In My Shoes has two kids almost the same ages, and SHE still manages to blog every couple of days. I don't think she has a nanny. But, then, I wouldn't put it past her!
Or, better yet, perhaps there's a ghost writer doing her blog for her????
Hmmm.
It's not that I don't want to, mind you. I've got four or five posts rattling around my brain AS WE SPEAK. (And they're HILARIOUS, by the way.) But I just can't find the time to sit down and punch one out.
I swear, I'm neglecting my children as much as humanly possible.
Miss Priss now counts Mickey, Dora and Diego as her bestest of friends.
And Miss Sunshine has gotten used to sitting her tush on overly full diapers.
But the time I garner from that just goes toward checking emails, doing laundry and washing dishes. BY HAND.
Yeah, the house we're in right now is pretty old, fitted with pretty old appliances - the oldest one being the dishwasher that's typing all this to you right now.
Oh, and I have had the nerve to manage a little workout time every other day. Perhaps I do not have my priorities in order?
After all, who ever heard of a blogger that was in shape?
Alright, well, the baby has reached her "alone-time in the swing" limit and has started to squawk, so I'd better go.
Please leave any time management ideas in the comments below.
Or, if you're interested in nannying or ghost writing, leave your info. I think we can manage to pay a very competitive salary of $5 per week.
Thanks!
Jen.
